Core cities & Mentor cities

The ICC cities consist of a mix of core cities - the main beneficiaries of the ICC programme – and the mentor cities - experts who will help to guide the core cities.

Core cities will receive world-class support from experts and European and international mentor cities, on the ground support from an external consultant, facilitated sessions with fellow cities and access to several high-profile events. Ultimately, they will become regional role models whose enhanced city performance will contribute to improving quality of life and creating new opportunities for their citizens. Mentor cities will support the core cities in reaching their objectives by sharing their knowledge and helping to scale intelligent city solutions.
