WirvsVirus Hackathon

The WirVsVirus Hackaton is a digital participation process initiated by the federal government of Germany, together with 7 digital and innovation actors (Code for Germany, Initiative D21, Impact Hub, Project Together, Prototype Fund, SEND, Tech 4 Germany). WirVsVirus Hackaton aims at generating innovative solutions to the Covid-19 crisis thanks to civil society participation during short online gatherings opened to anyone.

The first online gathering took place between March 20th and 22nd and brought together more than 28.000 people who worked on over 1500 solutions in 48 hours. The solutions are related to the topics of health, nutrition and care, administration, education, work and economy.

The hackaton will be followed by additional online gatherings oriented towards the implementation of solutions.
