The Region of Andalucía (Department for Health) launched in 2003 the information and services centre Salud Responde (English: Health Answering) to address health care for citizens and to grant them access to the services and benefits of the Public Health System via a mobile app.
The app now enables a test for the users to enter their symptoms and thus determine whether they have coronavirus. The intention of the app is to release the information phones that have been saturated since the start of the crisis. More specifically, the application now presents a dedicated section where to consult the information about the virus and to carry out a test. Should the symptoms of the coronavirus appear, it provides guidance and contacts of the relevant health services.
