Citizens and NGO representatives have a critical role to play in shaping the digital future of their city. The rise of online forums and interest groups enables them to engage more deeply with the different stakeholders of the digital ecosystem. They are now place at the heart of developing digital cities: they can share their experience with new digital solutions, offer opinions on digital initiatives and services and express dissent with the local authorities’ digital agenda.
