The Municipality of Tripoli and the Municipality of Corinth are joining the ICC as a consortium. Beginning with Tripoli, this Greek city sits at the heart of the Peloponnese peninsula and is the capital of the region. Close to where the peninsula connects to the Greek mainland lies the city of Corinth.
While Corinth was once one of the wealthiest port cities in Greece, the Peloponnese peninsula as a region has continually faced several economic challenges and hardships. In light of this, the two Municipalities are joining the ICC in the hope of initiating their transition into the digital age and to set their economies on a positive path.
