The Municipality of Palaio Faliro and the Municipality of Alimos are joining the ICC as a consortium.
Palaio Faliro (Greece) is a suburb of Athens, situated around 9 km from the city centre of the Greek capital, located on the southern coast of the Athens Riviera with a population of nearly 65,000 inhabitants. Having regenerated its urban profile, the Municipality of Palaio Faliro extends into the Athens southern coastal zone that encompasses historic baths, a marina, an urban park and an Olympic Sports Complex. The city promotes sustainable development and sustainable mobility along the Athens coastline.
The Municipality of Palaio Faliro takes a close interest in the economical use of water resources through proper design and planning, the development and maintenance of green spaces in the city, the establishment of horticultural workshops and other sustainability initiatives.
