3D face shields

The City of Antalya has started to produce face shields with 3D printers.

Masks are produced in the Robotic Coding and Technology Training Center, which is established within the municipality's Abdullah Sevimçok Civil Society and Innovation Center (ASSİM). The 2 3D printers in the center work non-stop for production. Teachers of Robotic Coding and Technology Training Center of Muratpaşa Municipality produced 24 shielded masks in one day.

Visor masks are printed with 3D printers using organic flament, which is not a threat to human health. Preparation of 1 mask takes about 2 hours and 5 minutes.
In few days, the Municipality has distributed hundreds of visors to professionals at risk, especially those working in hospitals.
